Greetings of the New Year

Your Week in Fashion

Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your holidays as much as I enjoyed mine. Christmas was full of family and food and gifting. New Year was all about family and food and movie marathons. Lots of love and great conversation thrown in the whole time. All in all, a wonderful time! And now I have here the first edition of Your Week in Fashion! Greetings of the New Year
I've brought together a bunch of great outfits that would take you through a week in style starting with a great blush sweater dress. Dressed up with a scarf and wooden earrings and bracelet. I've added ankle boots and a structured bag in leather. A great look to start off your week in.YWinF1-1
Next, another dress. This one in blocked black and black prints. I've added accessories in blue to brighten things up and black pumps to keep things classy.
This third outfit starts out with black trousers and a black blouse. But the blouse is anything but basic with its leather look and sheer inserts. Top it off with a neat cardigan in black and shades of gray. I've added a fabulous little black bag, black and gold dangling square earrings and gray pumps with tread. All in all a basic look with edge!
Now, a skirt look. A black pencil skirt with a chunky knit, white sleeveless turtleneck sweater. I've added a scarf with a standout star symbol. A black wool jacket with a large shawl collar keeps out the cold. The black and white pumps bring back the snap. The bag is close to the dark olive green tone in the scarf rather than black. And I've added bird earrings just for fun.
And something with a bit more color? Sleek black trousers with a cold shoulder red sweater with black accent lines. Earrings are pearl, gold and large red tassels for luxury. The black ankle boots are detailed with cutwork, silver toe edging and belting. The red bag has its share of oversized hardware as well. Finish the look with large black silver mirrored sunnies for mystery and style!
Deepest navy blue trousers, an oversized white shirt and a bright navy cardigan are the main pieces for this look. Add furred ankle boots in a honey tone and a scarf with more of the same warm tone. A clutch with a great blue print and blue beaded earrings for sparkle and shine.
Ah, some denim? And let's not forget the Pantone colors for this year as well. Jeans and a lovely rose top with a light blue tied cardigan give you a totally feminine look for a casual day. Add a structured blue bag in the same blue tone. Ankle strapped flats with a lovely gold toned detail on the toe and pretty pink and gold earrings finish this look. Feminine, but casual and comfortable.
And one more denim look in the Pantone colors. Dark wash jeans and a light blue silk blouse. A mid length bright pink cardigan to brighten things up. Black and blue ankle boots and a "degraded fringe" bag boost the drama level. I added just a touch of whimsy with raincloud earrings in silver and blue. Then toss on the black and blue fur piece and the drama skyrockets! Want to make a statement or just have some fun?
Hope you'll enjoy playing with this week's fashion offering! Thursday will be "The Digital Gallery" with digital art. "Your Week in Fashion" will return next Tuesday at 9:00 am. my time.
