Your Weekend Forecast is All Wrapped Up!

Over50Styling! This Friday, I have three shorts and kimono looks for you. If you haven't tried out kimonos, you should. At least try them in the store and move around in one to see just how comfortable it is. They drape and flow and are just generally lovely! You can go very casual with them or dress them up. You'll find them in plain cottons and sheer silks, so you should try more than one. Cotton on cotton will stay in place, like a cotton kimono over a t-shirt. Silk on skin will slide, like a silk one worn with a corset top. Depending on how much structure is put into the neckline and shoulder, a silk one could stay in place nicely or slip around more than you want. And on the other side of the coin, the cotton one may not need a lot of structure to make it stay in place, but it may not flow or drape as much as you'd like if it's too stiff or too heavy a fabric. So once you've tried some on and found what you want or the style you like, do check for quality and structure points. I hope you enjoy playing dress-up! Send me pictures of what you end up with and how you style them for your own wardrobes at judieasley@gmail.com! That's stylin'! Celebrate Life
