Shades of Violet: Three of a Kind

Over50Styling! It seems like most women like purple. I'm not sure what it is that attracts them. It happens to be my favorite color and always has been. I was born in February and my birthstone is the amethyst. That may explain my passion for the color. Yet it doesn't have a larger percentage of my wardrobe than other colors. In fact, I don't wear it very often. I find it difficult to shop for.

What I have for you are three outfits with skirts in moody shades of violet, grayed down shades of violet. This is the shade I usually end up wearing when I buy purple clothing. I think the clothing industry does purple wrong a lot of the time and most of what they make is unwearable. They just seem to get the shades and tints wrong. But this shade, is very wearable.
