Happy Wednesday! Three shorts looks for today. Tuck in the tops or leave them loose, whichever suits your personal style and looks best on you. Clutch handbags with each for proportion, but if you're a large tote size person, choose one in the same color tone and look as what I've shown for these looks. Or choose a totally different one to change the look.
In the summer, when your feet are exposed, they should look their best. If you can't take care of them, have a pedicure by a professional or a good friend. If you are exposing your toes, your nails should be painted. No naked toenails! That's just my rule of thumb. As soon as I start wearing sandals or go barefoot, my toenails are painted until I cover them up in the fall.
Remember to always wear sunscreen when you are outside. And a touch of lipstick will always finish a look, so take the time to find your "perfect" summer shade or tint to wear with everything. Your lipstick should blend with your skin tones, not your outfit. Find one that looks right on you! I spent an hour at Sephora last week trying colors and was very happy with the color I left with, knowing I wouldn't be bringing it back or tossing it out. It's the color that I've been looking for but couldn't find without playing at the counters. The gal at Sephora helped me find the right type of lipstick, actually a stain, and the right color. No, this is not a plug for Sephora. I'd been going to the pharmacy make up departments and buying and returning or tossing them. I wasted a whole lot of money buying and trying cheaper lipsticks! I won't make that mistake again. If I can't at least see the actual product, rather than a color chip, I won't buy. Too often the color chips have nothing to do with the product color. So now I have a wear anytime, anywhere lipstick that I can put on and be confident that it will look great, because it matches ME!
